Summer success.

July saw Dan go out to his first SJ competition where his eyes were on stalks at the fillers but he came away with a 1st, 4th & 6th which was unexpected as Amber just gave him a school round with no attempt to go against the clock!

A couple of weeks later, Ruby went to Colraine for Arena Challenge and came away with a 3rd in the 80cm and a win in the 90cm.

Dan had his second try at showjumping and despite being very green around the 60cm to finish in 5th with a pole down in the jump off. Then took 2nd in the 70cm with a lovely double clear and another 2nd in the 80cm with another lovely double clear. It was a lovely result for all Amber’s hard work as she’s been focused on the flatwork and developing his jumping as he hadn’t really seen any fences having come off a racetrack!

The end of July saw Mr P qualify for the second year running for the JCB PC 90 Eventing Champs. He’s such a lovely boy, quirky but adorable who lives for the XC!

Then Amber & Ruby headed to the Area 19 Qualifiers Combined Training riding the Novice 28 dressage followed by 80cm show jumping for Cornwall Trec Group.

An individual class win with a dressage score of 26.9 followed by a clear SJ round.

Also a win for the team. July had turned out to be a successful month!
