Oct 21 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
On Thursday 21st October, we are playing host to the BHS Dead Slow Road Safety Evening.
Alan Hiscox, the Director of Safety at the British Horse Society will be presenting their Dead Slow campaign. This evening helps educate drivers and horse riders on how to stay safe when they encounter one another. With the upcoming winter months, reduced hours of daylight, visibility and alarming new figures regards horse related accidents, we felt this would be a useful event for the local riding community.
Starting at 7.30pm (doors open at 7), entry is £2 on the night (free for children) or £5 if you would like a pasty and soft drink. These need to be pre-ordered so we would need advance notice for numbers. Additional pasties can be pre-ordered for children.
We will also be running a raffle with some great prizes and all profits from this evening will be going to the BHS Dead Slow Fund to help continue its work in this area.
We do hope as many as people as possible can make it to this presentation and if you do wish to pre-order a pasty for the evening please contact the office on 01208 831817 to pay and specify whether you want the steak or vegetarian option. We’ll have a few extra on the night but not many!
